Real examples from our jobs

Commercial springs
Commercial doors are heavier and cycle far more often than a residential door. Their springs are larger, frequently installed in sets of two or more, and specified by cycle life. When one spring in a set breaks, the rest have the same wear, and replacing the set together avoids repeated downtime. If a door is opening dozens of times a day, we will talk with you about higher cycle springs that suit that workload.
Commercial operators
We troubleshoot and repair commercial door operators, including trolley and jackshaft types. Typical faults are limit switches out of adjustment, worn drive components, failed control stations and damaged safety devices. As with residential doors, we check the door’s balance first; an operator working against a failed spring will not last.
Keeping downtime short
Tell us the door size, type and what it is doing when you call, and send a photo if you can. That lets us bring the right springs and parts on the first trip. If a part must be ordered, we will secure the opening and return when it arrives.
For doors in constant use, scheduled maintenance is much cheaper than an emergency. Ask about a recurring inspection for your site.

What types of commercial doors do you repair?
Our commercial work is focused on sectional overhead doors and their springs and operators. If you have a rolling steel door, high speed door or dock equipment, call and describe it so we can confirm whether we are the right fit.
Can you repair a door hit by a forklift or truck?
In most cases. Damaged sections and track can be replaced. If the door is unsafe, we will secure the opening first.
